Senior Strategy Planner

The Senior Strategy Planner is responsible for developing customer focused solutions to client communication challenges. Working across Marketforce strategy, digital and CX teams, we’re looking for someone who can think outside the box and the willingness to collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to achieve business

  • Eight to ten (8-10) years’ experience within an advertising/ marketing environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing/ advertising or related field
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and CX
  • A level of exposure to marketing technology platforms
  • Intermediate/ Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
  • Relevant skills and experience in people management
  • Professional presentation skills

Key responsibilities
Ability to draft and execute strategies that align to key business objectives, based on tangible data and insights.
The strategy planner will create a clear roadmap for our clients, providing goals, tactical initiatives and budget/resourcing guidance. You’ll bring the ability to collaborate and influence teams to plan, develop and implement tactics marketing initiatives across communications, customer relationship management, digital marketing, customer experience, brand management with media strategy consideration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • • Develop strategic brand vision and fully integrated marketing plans across multiple business channels and marketing platforms to ensure brand awareness and lead generation
  • Understand and contribute to help shape the client strategy and mission
  • Development of new creative briefs managing everything from ideation, research to creative briefing
  • Ensure long term brand health measurements and KPI's are met
  • Research competition to identify threats and opportunities and monitor and analyse industry trends and market changes for clients
  • Understand and analyse commercial and customer data
  • Develop and deliver new business proposals business in conjunction with senior management
  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Report on marketing, campaign and brand measurements to demonstrate contribution & ROI

This role will also be responsible for helping to build Marketforce’s CX offering including:
  • Responsible for developing solutions to client challenges with a focus on best practice CX including CX strategy, data anlsysi and customer journey mapping
  • Working with the CXO and Head of Digital on delivering strategies that win business
