The Codes and Compliance workshop are free for all members of The Communications Council. Workshops are available for non-member agencies and clients on a case by case basis.

The Communications Council’s Code and Compliance workshop is designed to inform and prepare agency staff on the relevant legislation and regulation for the creative communications industry. 

Delivered inside an agency, the one-hour interactive workshop covers a range of topics including the ACCC Competition and Consumer Act on misleading and deceptive conduct, as well as the AANA Code of Ethics.

Featuring a curated selection of case studies and advertisements the workshop provides guidance on the common issues, complaints and determinations that affect advertising communication.

The workshop can also be designed using a bespoke approach tailored to individual agency needs and clients. Modules available within the workshop include:

  • Product-specific legislation and regulation including Automotive, Alcohol (ABAC), Food and Beveridge, Gambling & Wagering.
