Role Overview

The Communications Council (TCC) is committed to raising the professional standards of Australia's commercial creativity industry.
The TCC Professional Development (PD) portfolio offers online, residential and classroom instruction opportunities through its AdSchool, AWARD School, IPA and The Graduate Program curricula.
The Project Manager (PM) is part of the team to deliver professional support across our programs.
This role involves regular interaction with potential participants and member agencies, requiring a high level of professionalism and excellent communications skills.
The PM is expected to assist in the day-to-day running of our courses, supporting the Professional Development Manager (PDM). In addition, other key responsibilities include building and maintaining customer relationships, communication and marketing activities and assisting the PDM in program development.

Role Objective

To support in the delivery of world class training programs that champion commercial creativity and raise the professional standards of the industry with continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Support and assist the PDM across all TCC course requirements, such as:

  • Assist the PDM to carry out a continuous improvement initiative
  • Manage the day-to-day running of AWARD School
  • Manage the day-to-day running of The Graduate Program
  • Assist with AdSchool, AWARD Creative Leadership, IPA online and IPA residential courses
  • Maintain course databases, financials and online enrolments, as required
  • Maintain course websites/content and social media marketing/communications, as required
  • Assist with sales and answer enquiries – phone and email
  • Take on other assigned duties or tasks as required by the business

Skills, experience and education required

  • Must have 3+ years in advertising industry in account services or production
  • Be tech savvy with a high level proficiency in Google suite along with database skills using a CRM
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) including experience dealing with a broad range of stakeholders
  • A sound understanding of digital and social media communication
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to juggle a number of tasks simultaneously
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on a range of tasks in a cooperative and efficient manner. Please note, some responsibilities need to be conducted out of business hours
  • Initiative and problem solving abilities
  • A 'can-do' attitude and good attention to detail
  • Able to work without supervision but also a great team player
