Wednesday, 5 September 2018

Bohdi Lewis and Melina Hamilton Two of the most respected strategists and innovators in the industry are joining forces to deliver the upcoming AdSchool Digital Strategy & Experience Design course, to be held in Sydney from October 3.

With previous digital roles at Razorfish, Sage Pay, Universal Music, and a background in technology and design, AnalogFolk’s Strategy Director - Experiences Melina Hamilton is at the forefront of CX strategy, from experience audits, new product development, to digital transformation.

Hamilton joined AnalogFolk from MullenLowe Profero where she was Senior Business Designer leading CX and product strategy for three years.

Appointed AdSchool lecturer in 2018, she recently spoke alongside the industry’s senior strategic leaders at the IPA Strategic Planning Residential in Sydney.

Hamilton has two book credits to her name in the ‘Read This If You Want to Take Great Photographs’ series which aims to simplify the complex and inspire people to think creatively - an approach she applies in her client work.

Through industry speaking engagements and workshops, she also acts as a catalyst for diversity in the industry.

Bohdi Lewis is an award winning innovator specialising in connecting people to brands through data-driven insights, creativity and a deep understanding of the technology landscape.

As the Head of Innovation at Host/Havas Australia, he is working with some of Australia's most forward-thinking organisations including the Australian Defence Force, Air New Zealand, Moet Hennessy and GSK to create the next wave of brand experiences that bridge the gap between people and technology.

Lewis was part of the Host/Havas team that was awarded the Grand Effie for “How transforming the Defence Force’s approach to recruitment delivered record returns” at last week’s ceremony.

He is a big believer that the days of being pigeonholed into the silo disciplines of Digital, Brand, Experiential, Retail, Social, Technology etc are long gone.

“Today’s strategic thinkers must be truly hybrid in order to survive and thrive, and they must evolve to embrace the principles of UX and design that put people at the centre of ideas,” Lewis says.

Adding: “Thus shifting the paradigm from trying to make people want things to making things people want.”
