Bravo Awards 2012

 

 

In the middle of 2008, a group of Creative Directors sent out an invitation to the MDs and staff of Australasian healthcare agencies. This is what it said:

“Since 1995, our agencies have been entering work in the Globals – the world’s most prestigious awards for healthcare communications. A quick tally shows 8 Grand Globals (best in the world), 12 Globals (bloody terrific) and 28 finalists (very good indeed). It’s a record to be proud of.

Bravo! is a night to celebrate our successful ideas. You’ll see all the past winners. You’ll also be present at the announcement of the 2008 Globals winners from around the world, because delegates from the New York Festivals (who run the Globals) will be attending to deliver the verdict.

This will be a night when we celebrate the great idea. A very limited number of people from agencies, clients and sponsors have been invited. We want you to walk out inspired. And we want you to walk out determined that you will demand and be involved in producing great ideas in healthcare communications. Please come.”

Since then, we’ve kept on winning Globals, another four annual Bravo! evenings have been held and we hope that they have all been both stimulating and enjoyable. We’ve seen some great work celebrated and some great people awarded.

As we get closer to Bravo! 2012, we thought it was time to remind everyone what you’ll be drinking to.
