Advertising Agency Heads of Department OH&S Information & Training Program

Funded from the WorkCover Assist Grants Program and in conjunction with OHS Media Services, an online OHS information & training program for Advertising Agency Accreditation Managers and Heads of Department has been developed, under the Accreditation program.

The OHS information & training program aims to enhance participant knowledge and application of the OHS legislation to Advertising Agency work activities and workplaces.

The training modules contain case study videos, guidance notes, OHS tools and activities for participants to download and work through. The program will assist participants in developing policies & procedures to systematically manage OHS compliance. In addition there are links to WorkCover NSW codes & safety guides to further assist.

While the program is funded by WorkCover Assist Grants Program and addresses the specifics of the NSW OHS legislation, the program is open to all AFA members.

The Communications Council members in states other than NSW will find the Guidance Notes and OHS tools relevant to their OHS management. In addition, the online program contains links to the legislation for other states.

All time spent completing the program should be added to your CPD record and attributed to your agency Accreditation. Speak to your Accreditation Manager for more details or if unsure, contact the Communications Council.
