The Youngbloods

Launched in 1995, the Youngbloods program has become one of great success stories. From a small Sydney based group, the Youngbloods have grown to an energetic organisation with representation in all states.  Youngbloods is a platform for young advertising people to socialise, build a network with colleagues and have a say on industry issues.

Who can be a member?

Officially we are a group for young working people in the advertising industry, however we are happy to include advertising students and people who work in an advertising role in a different industry. You don't have to be a member to come to our events, but members do get a discount on tickets.

What do you have to do to become a Member?

Just send an email to your state chairperson and we’ll add you to the Youngbloods database for future invitations to Youngbloods events in your city- simple eh?

How else can I get involved?

In addition to attending events, we do have a core committee that meet on a regular basis and are responsible for actually organising our activities and managing the group's administration. We try to have people from as many different agencies as possible, so if yours isn't represented and you'd like to be involved, please contact us.

The Youngbloods Charter:

Our Mission:

If the advertising industry’s leaders are its wise head, then the industry’s young people are the fire in its belly.  In an arena that lives on hard work and great ideas, the enthusiasm, drive and commitment of young people provides the energy to take the industry to its greatest heights. And it is with these people that the future of the industry is entrusted.

Our Challenge:

  • To provide a voice within the advertising industry, which represents the interests of young people.
  • To provide a fun social environment for the industry’s young people to meet and build a business network.
  • To introduce initiatives that are tailored to fostering the talent of young people in the industry.

Our Objectives:

  • To challenge the status quo
  • To voice an independent point of view
  • To encourage debate
  • To bring new thoughts to the industry
