Head of Digital ... A Pivotal Role in a Great Environment!

As Adcorp’s Head of Digital your main responsibilities are to manage and run the agency’s Digital function. The key Digital service provider to Adcorp’s client service teams across Australia and New Zealand, you’ll be required to deliver strategic direction to the Digital offering in this high-profile role, whilst overseeing client and internal Digital projects from start to finish.

Reporting directly into the Chief Executive Officer, you will seamlessly juggle the pressures of managing a small, clever team of Project Managers and Designers, coupled with workflow and day-to-day management duties. This is a key role in the future direction of the agency’s business strategy. So commercial acumen is a must.

Ideally, you’ll come from an agency background, with minimum 6 years in a Digital production/project management capacity. You’ll be bottom line focused, and will have worked with teams of developers, producers and creative’s on a wide range of Digital projects. Our dream candidate will have impeccable project management skills.

You’ll be willing and able to hit the ground running and get your hands dirty with client projects, including producing and managing project plans, scoping, statements of work and budgeting. Outstanding communication and leadership skills will see you through this initial stage, and into your successful future with the agency.

Key criteria for the role include:

  • Strong understanding of Digital strategy and its role within the marketing mix
  • Commercially focused, profit-driven and highly accountable
  • Translate Digital concepts and strategies into project plans, then lead and manage the in-house Digital specialists to deliver the solution
  • Select, lead and manage external suppliers as required
  • Represent the agency’s Digital proposition internally and externally
  • Work alongside Project Managers and Designers to develop interactive communication strategies as part of integrated campaigns
  • Provide robust market and consumer insights for clients
  • Participate in, and facilitate workshop and planning sessions
  • Write creative briefs based on clear consumer, brand and product insights

Producer/Project Manager

  • 3 month contract with potential to extend

Adcorp Australia Limited, Australasia’s largest locally owned marketing communications group, is looking for a talented and highly experienced Producer/ Project Manager to join our Digital team in Sydney.

Reporting to the Head of Digital and working closely with the Account Director, you will primarily be responsible for the management and delivery of an entire global digital solution. In addition you will be working across several other digital solutions with internal and external clients and team members. Your responsibilities will include preparing strategic proposals and quotations, writing scopes, creating wireframes and preparing and managing project plans.

Your ability to combine effective, costly and timely solutions whilst maintaining service and quality levels to clients will be imperative. This is a ‘hands on’ role and your commitment and follow through on tasks will be essential.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following credentials;

  • Min 5+ years experience as a Project Manager / Digital Account Manager in a digital environment
  • Experience with implementing and managing multiple CMS platforms
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads on multiple projects
  • Proficient in the use of design and HTML applications
  • Have a general understanding in hosting infrastructure and DNS systems
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a team of designers / developers
  • Able to communicate with a diverse range of client, supplier and internal stakeholders.

Although this position is for a fixed term of 3 months, depending on success of the projects you will be working on there may be an opportunity to extend the contract.
